Perpetua is a famous font with wrote, designed by Eric Gill and issued in by Monotype Corporation. According to Robert Harling, in the book The Letter Forms and Type Designs of Eric Gill, Gill began work on Perpetua in at the request of Monotype's main typographerStanley Morison.
